Review: Loving Her Sniper Step Brother by Piper Anne

This is the second book by Ms. Anne that I’ve read and I enjoyed as much if not more than Her Father’s Best Friend.  I think it’s the sniper angle that got me.  What’s up with the stepbrother trope?  It’s everywhere!  If you look through the lists on Amazon they are allll over the place… and doing well. This is the only stepsibling romance that I’ve read and it didn’t feel icky to me at all.  Their parents met and married and Aryn and Ben forged a friendship in comfort.  Their home life was not very happy and they found solace, affection and soon love in each other.  They truly cared for each other.  Years and circumstances separated them and now they are thrown together again and their feelings are still very strong.

I enjoyed the chemistry between Aryn and Ben and I enjoyed the action of the story.  As for the passion?  Uh yeah, it’s alllll there, people. 😉

She was completely trapped by his body yet not a single fiber of her resisted.  It was deliciously comforting to be surrounded by him this way, his legs around hers, his hips pressing into her middle, his hands in her hair.  In this moment, Aryn was protected, encased in strength by the only man she’d ever love, even if she denied it to her dying breath.

This is another quickie read and I’d love to read more about Ben and Aryn. I guess that’s a sign of a good story right?  Wanting more.
