Quickie Review: Her Father’s Best Friend by Piper AnneHer Father's Best Friend on March 10, 2015

Abby Henningston has crushed on Dr. Jackson Crissia since she was thirteen, suffering the ache of his rugged beauty with the knowledge that it was just girlish infatuation. He was eighteen years older than her, and her father’s best friend.

After an emotionally-charged moment on her eighteen birthday found Abby in Jack’s arms, she thought her fantasies might become real. But the next day, Jack was gone. It's been seven years and now her medical rotation in County Hospital emergency room is her last before completing her nursing degree. She’s moved on, grown up. Life is good, until Jack appears as her mentor, and the single person who can destroy her plans, and her heart.

Jack Crissia has never forgotten Abby. A dark passion ignites with a vengeance when she shows up in his hospital, now a stunningly beautiful twenty-five year old woman.

It’s time he shows her what lust really means and how far the addiction of pleasure will make you go. When passion goes too far, Jack realizes how easily he could ruin her. He must choose between their love and Abby’s future before they both lose it all.

Her Father’s Best Friend is an 10,000 word age-difference romance. Warning: This book contains explosive sex thanks to years of pent-up emotion and frustration, and one hot doctor who likes to play dirty. It’s a fast, ecstatic ride that may require extra panties.

Goodreads

I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Have 30 minutes to burn and want to read something hot, steamy and a little forbidden?  This hot little book will fit the bill quite nicely!  Abby and Jackson have been attracted to each other for years despite their 18 year difference.  Abby is now 25 and Jackson is 43 and they are free to act on their feelings for each other.  Granted, Jackson is Abby’s supervisor the hospital that they are working at but it doesn’t stop them.

This was just a quick peak into Jackson and Abby’s undeniable attraction to each other and the lust and passion they give into.  I’ll admit that I’d love to know what happens to Abby and Jackson after the end of this book.

I enjoyed this little taste of new author Piper Anne and I’ll definitely be on lookout for more by her. 3.75 steamy stars!
